We are experienced custom sawyers and woodworkers with a passion for salvaging wood from urban and residential tree removals. With our Alaskan-style portable sawmills, we reclaim the wood from trees that would normally have been chipped or sent to landfills and turn it into valuable hardwood lumber and live-edge wood slabs. This sustainably-sourced wood is then used by local furniture makers, woodworkers and DIYers to build beautiful, one-of-a-kind wood creations.

Our model of recovering the wood from tree removals is a key component of responsible urban forestry. It is also a win-win situation for both the local economy and the environment. 

Every that tree we salvage is one fewer tree that will need to be harvested from the forest to meet local demand. The carbon in the wood from the salvaged tree stays in the furniture that it becomes, and the tree that's left in the forest continues to sequester carbon for future generations.
